Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Sharon grew up in a big family filled with music, learning, and creativity. From a young age, she was encouraged by her parents to pursue paths in both music and education.

After several years of performing with the singing group 'The Emanuel Sisters', Sharon went on to study world languages and social sciences in Jamaica and Paris, France. After returning to North America, Sharon trained to become a Montessori educator and founded her own 'Casa dei Bambini' preschool in Indiana, USA.

Today, Sharon lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband. They have four beautiful children who often act as inspiration for her stories.

As a musician, educator, storyteller, and world traveler, Sharon finds inspiration for her books from her children and the vast and diverse perspectives gained from living internationally. These experiences, along with her Caribbean childhood and decades as a teacher, inspire her realistic fiction stories for children—celebrating curiosity, family bonds, and the wonders of nature.

Sharon's goal as an author is to create educational and uplifting stories to inspire and bring joy to all who read them.
